Alessandro Lindblad wordt in 1991 geboren in Stockholm. Hij levert verscheidene remixen af, onder meer voor LMFAO, One Republic en Keane.

In 2012 staat hij, samen met Sebastian Ingrosso, voor het eerst in de Top 40 met de ex-Dance Smash Calling. Years (met Matthew Koma) en Under Control (met Calvin Harris en Hurts) blijven daarna steken in de Tipparade.

In 2014 werkt Alesso samen met Tove Lo en scoort met Heroes (We Could Be) voor de vierde keer de Dance Smash. Het wordt de eerste top 10-notering voor Alesso. In 2015 maakt hij, samen met Roy English, de track Cool. Dat jaar staat hij, net als in 2013, op plek 13 in de DJ Mag Top 100. Na een relatief stille periode komen we Alesso in de zomer van 2017 tegen op de samenwerking met Hailee Steinfeld, Let Me Go. In de zomer van 2018 verschijnt zijn eigen track, Remedy, waarop Conor Maynard de vocalen voor zijn rekening neemt.

Op 8 april 2020 verschijnt Midnight, een track met One Direction-zanger Liam Payne. Een klein jaartje later brengt hij samen met onze Armin Van Buuren de track Leave A Little Love uit. In augustis volgt dan een track met Marshmello; Chasing Stars met James Bay als vocalist.
