Wist je dat? Voor Veronica's Countdown stond U2 op 14 mei 1982 in 't Heem in Hattem. De zaal was nog niet half uitverkocht, er werd daarom een zwart doek neergehangen, want er werd zowel voor de tv als voor de radio opgenomen. Dat gebeurde met meerdere sporen, waarbij Ad Bouman als technicus fungeerde in de wagen met opnameapparatuur. De manager had vervolgens beloofd dat Bouman als producer voor Veronica's Countdown zou worden genoemd op de singlerelease. Dat gebeurde echter niet. Toen Bouman de manager even later weer tegenkwam in de studio, kwam die manager meteen naar Bouman toe met het excuus dat Bouman wél op de aanstaande maxisinglerelease zou worden vermeld. Je raadt het al: ook dat gebeurde niet.

Deze versie van I Will Follow werd U2's eerste hit in Nederland.
