Queen's 2de hitsingle in de Top 40. De opvolger van de top 3-hit deed het minder goed in april 1975. De plaat stond 3 weken genoteerd en de hoogste positie was 32.

Wist je dat? In 1974 was Queen erg productief want de band bracht dat jaar 2 albums uit. Queen II en Sheer Heart Attack. Met die laatste kreeg de band meer bekendheid en ook in Nederland bereikte het album de top 10. Leadsingle Killer Queen haalde de 3de plaats in de Top 40. Now I'm Here, geschreven door Brian May gaat over zijn ervaring met hepatitis die een jaar eerder bij hem was vastgesteld toen de band op tournee was in de Verenigde Staten. May moest en zou overleven en men laten zien dat hij er nog steeds was, ook al zat hij tijdelijk niet in de band. Dat alles werd verwerkt in de single Now I'm Here. Het is een echte rock classic. In Engeland haal de single de 11de plaats maar in ons land moest de band genoegen nemen met een 32ste plaats. Ondanks dat had de band de bekendheid gekregen na 4 jaar knokken. Later in 1975 zouden ze zichzelf overtreffen met een single die niet meer genoemd hoeft te worden.
