Flash, ook wel bekend als Flash's Theme verscheen in december 1980 en werd na het succes van Another One Bites The Dust een bescheiden hit met een 18de plaats in de Top 40; in Engeland werd de 10de plaats gehaald, terwijl in de Verenigde Staten de single maar net de top 40 bereikte.

Wist je dat? 1980 was een druk jaar voor de band. Ze werkten aan 2 albumprojecten en waren ook nog eens op toernee. De band was gevraagd om de muziek te maken voor de film Flash Gordon. De leadsingle was dan ook Flash, die eind 1980 de hitlijsten beklom. In de video zien we de band spelend tegen een achtergrond waarop beelden van de film te zien zijn. 6 jaar later zou de band opnieuw meewerken aan een film. De naam van die film? Highlander.
