Dit nummer is afkomstig van het album Tragic Kingdom. Het nummer gaat over de ergenis bij vrouwen over hoe mannen vrouwen soms als zwakke stereotypes bekijken.
De band bracht het nummer uit in het najaar van 1996. Verder dan de tipparade kwam het nummer niet. Eind 1996 werd het nummer Don't Speak een nummer 1 hit. En de band besloot om het nummer Just A Girl nogmaals uit te brengen. En niet zonder succes, want in de Nederlandse Top 40 haalde het een 11e plek. Het nummer wordt ook gebruikt in de films Clueless en Romy and Michele's High School Reunion.
