De Groningers Ruben den Boer en Victor Pool vormen sinds 2012 het duo Vicetone. De heren krijgen een contract bij Monstercat Records en brengen de track Stars uit. Een jaar later gaan ze mee op tournee met Nicky Romero. Met hem maken ze in 2014 het nummer Let Me Feel, dat hun eerste notering in de Tipparade wordt.

In 2015 maakt het duo de track No Way Out, waarop de Amerikaanse Kat Nestel de vocalen voor haar rekening neemt.
