De Britse, in Londen woonachtige, Jax Jones is producer en tekstschrijver. In 2013 verschijnt zijn eerste productie Go Deep. Het succes daarvan staat in schril contrast met dat van I Got U, wat hij later opneemt. De samenwerking met Duke Dumont bereikt in 2014 de Tipparade.

Eind 2016 maakt hij, samen met Raye, de track You Don't Know Me - Na Na Ay! dat 20 weken in de Top 40 staat en de zesde plaats weet te bereiken. In juni van 2017 krijgt de track met Instruction, een samenwerking met Demi Lovato en Stefflon Don, een opvolger.

Eind 2018 verschijnt de ep Snacks, een collectie van eerdere nummers van de dj aangevuld met Play, een samenwerking met Years & Years. Eind maart 2019 wordt duidelijk dat hij met Martin Solveig het duo Europa vormt. Dan verschijnt ook All Day And Night, een track van Europa met Madison Beer. Het initiatief krijgt in 2020 een vervolg met de track Tequila.

In de zomer vam 2019 werkt hij samen met Bebe Rexha op Harder. De tracklijst van Snacks krijgt in de zomer een 'Supersize'. Bij de aanvullende tracks zit dan ook This Is Real, een samenwerking met Ella Henderson.
In 2021 werkt hij samen met Joel Corry op Out Out waarop ook Charli XCX en Saweetie een vocale bijdrage leveren. Hij dropt samen met MNEK de single Where Did You Go begin februari 2022. Een jaar later levert zijn samenwerking met Calum Scott de single Whistle op.
