Dit Noorse duo bestaat uit de broers Bård Ylvisåker en Vegard Ylvisåker. In 2000 hadden zij hun eerste succes met hun voorstelling Ylvis- en kabaret. Later verkregen zij landelijke bekendheid door televisieoptredens.



Het duo ging muziekvideo’s produceren en publiceerden deze op YouTube. In 2013 hadden ze na de publicatie van de muziekvideo The Fox na 10 dagen meer dan 25 miljoen views, een maand later waren dat er zelfs meer dan 100 miljoen. Mede daardoor wisten zij in verschillende landen de hitlijsten te bereiken.

Ylvis is een komisch duo uit Noorwegen, bestaande uit de broers Bård en Vegard Ylvisåker. Al sinds het jaar 2000 is het een erg succesvolle show in Noorwegen. Als promo voor het nieuwe seizoen voor hun programma, releasden de broers het nummer "The Fox", die onmiddelijk viral ging op YouTube. De videoclip is al meer dan 120 miljoen keer bekeken.
