Het nummer heeft vooral bekendheid gekregen als titelsong van de populaire sitcom Friends uit de jaren 90. Het werd geschreven door The Rembrandts-leden Danny Wilde en Phil Solem in samenwerking met Allee Willis, Michael Skloff en Friends-bedenkers Marta Kauffman en David Crane.
In de videoclip zijn zowel de bandleden van The Rembrandts te zien als alle zes de hoofdrolspelers uit de serie.
