Tonight is een newwavecover van het gelijknamige nummer uit de musical West Side Story. Stephen Sondheim (tekst) en Leonard Bernstein (muziek) schreven deze musical en dus ook deze track. West Side Story werd voor het eerst opgevoerd in 1957. In 1961 en 2021 verschenen verfilmingen van deze musical.
