Sophie Hawley-Weld en Tucker Halpern vormen in 2014 het duo Sofi Tukker. In de zomer van 2016 brengen ze met Soft Animals hun eerste ep uit en daarvan wordt Drinkee in 2017 genomineerd als ‘beste dance opname’. Het nummer is een bewerking van een gedicht van de Braziliaan Chacal. Het nummer is ook te horen in de Netflix-film The Incredible Jessica James die in januari van 2017 verscheen.
Best Friend is het nummer dat wordt gebruikt tijdens de lancering van de iPhone X in september van 2017. Die track komt ook in de FIFA 18-game en wordt aan het einde van het jaar door Radio 538 uitgeroepen tot Dance Smash.
