Scooter is een Duitse raveband uit Hamburg, bestaande uit H.P. Baxxter, Michael Simon (sinds 2006) en Phil Speiser (sinds 2014). Via hardcore en techno komt de groep uit bij EDM (elektronica dance music).

Sinds de doorbraak Hyper Hyper (#12 in 1994) heeft Scooter maar liefst 12 hits gehad in de Top 40. Hyper Hyper is in punten gemeten ook de grootste hit, hoewel de tweede single Move Your Als (1995) beduidend hoger eindigde (#4). De laatste notering in de Top 40 dateert van 2005.

Ook zonder hits blijft de groep, mede dankzij de markante kreten van de opvallende voorman H.P., populair. Scooter maakt in 2011 bijvoorbeeld de muziek bij de Duitse versie van New Kids Turbo. In 2013 wordt uitgebreid stilgestaan bij het 20-jarig bestaan. Eind 2018 geeft Scooter twee concerten in AFAS Live in Amsterdam.

In 2020 maakt hij de track FCK 2020 waarin hij laat merken dat het jaar er eentje is om snel weer te vergeten.
