De Helmondse Rochelle Perts volgt een opleiding aan het Rock City Institute en doet in 2007 mee aan het vierde seizoen van Idols. Daar valt de zangeres in de theaterronde af. Drie jaar later besluit ze mee te doen aan X Factor, waar ze coaching krijgt van Eric van Tijn. Ze weet, samen met de groep Adlicious, de finale te winnen.

No Air, een cover van de hit van Jordin Sparks, bereikt in 2011 de tweede plaats in de Top 40. In 2012 verschijnt haar debuutalbum You vs. Me. De singles What A Life en Untouchable blijven steken in de Tipparade.

In 2014 staat ze met Yellow Claw op Shotgun voor de tweede keer in de Top 40. Shotgun houdt het 23 weken vol in de lijst en wordt haar grootste succes. In het voorjaar van 2015 is Rochelle terug in een samenwerking met Dirtcaps, Fools Paradise.

In 2016 wordt All Night Long haar derde Top 40-hit. In september scoort ze met Way Up, haar samenwerking met KaliBwoy, de Dance Smash bij Radio 538. In 2017 brengt Rochelle de singles Don't Let Me Go, You Got Something en Come To Me (met Sharon Doorson en Rollàn) uit.
