Fadil El Ghoul, afkomstig uit Breda, maakt faam in de dance-scene met remixen voor onder meer Madonna, Katy Perry, Lady Gaga en David Guetta. R3hab laat voor het eerst van zich horen in 2008 als hij met Hardwell de track Mrkrstft uitbrengt. De dj en producer tekent later een contract bij Wall Recordings, het platenlabel van Afrojack.

Samen met Addy van der Zwan (bekend van Klubbheads) staat hij in 2010 voor het eerst in de tipparade met Get Get Down. Twee jaar later bereikt ook zijn samenwerking met Shermanology (Living For The City) de lijst met kanshebbers.

Zijn samenwerking met de Nederlandse Ummet Ozcan en het Australische duo Nervo zorgt er in 2014 voor dat Revolution opnieuw tot de kanshebbers voor een notering in de Top 40 behoort. In 2016 maakt hij, samen met Ciara, de track Get Up en verschijnt ook Freak (met Quintino). In 2018 maakt hij met Ali B, Cheb Rayan en Numidia het nummer Dana en levert hij met de Amerikaanse Sofia Carson de track Rumors af.

In het voorjaar van 2019 wordt zijn remake van de hit van A Touch Of Class (ATC), nu als All Around The World (La La La), in Duitsland opnieuw een hit. De track waait al snel ook over naar ons land en wordt zijn eerste Top 40-hit. In november verschijnt Flames, een samenwerking met Zayn en Jungleboi.
In april 2021 dropt hij de track Pues. Voor deze track wist hij Luis Fonsi en Sean Paul te strikken. Eind december 2021 brengt hij samen met Lukas Graham de single Most People uit. Hij begint 2022 goed en dropt samen met Gabry Ponte en Timmy Trumpet het nummer Call Me. In de herfst van 2022 levert de samenwerking met Vize en Enny-Mae de single One Last Time op.
