Deze Nederlandse popgroep was actief tussen 1965 en 1971. De band bestond uit Wim Bieler, Frank Nuyens, Peter Vink, Jay Baar en Joop Roelofs. Er zijn wel verschillende personeelswisselingen geweest waardoor ook Eric van de Berk, Derk Groenen en Rinus Hollenberg deel uitmaakten van de groep. De band stond bekend om hun ruwe en bewust lelijke geluid. De bandnaam was een combinatie van twee Rolling Stonesnummers: Susie Q en Route 66. Uiteindelijk werd de groepsnaam Q65, vanwege het jaar van oprichting van de band.



De eerste hit werd gescoord met de single You're The Victor in maart 1966. Met de opvolger The Life I Live scoorde de band het hoogst in de Nederlandse Top 40. Er volgden nog vele hits.


Mede door drugsgebruik kwam er onenigheid in de band en mede door de militaire dienstplicht van zanger Wim Bieler kwam er een voortijdig einde aan het bestaan van de band. Met Sexy Legs uit 1970 scoorden zij hun laatste hit. De albums Afghanistan en We Are Gonna Make It waren in 1970 en 1971 de laatste lp's.
