Peace wordt gezongen door Peter Hallett. Hij was 18 jaar toen hij het lied opnam; schrijver was Peter Gosling, arrangeur was Keith Mansfield.
Peace werd in 1970 door Radio Noordzee gebruikt ter ondersteuning van enkele charitatieve acties.
Niet alleen in 1976 werd Peace opnieuw uitgegeven, ook in 1991 was dat het geval, ditmaal om de beëindiging van de Golfoorlog te herdenken. De opname bereikte nooit de Top 40.
