Osibisa is een Afro-rockband opgericht in 1969 in Londen. De band was voornamelijk begin jaren zeventig succesvol met hun goede albums waarop een goed en een stevig funky geluid te horen was. Vanaf midden jaren zeventig sloeg de band een andere weg in waarin ook disco- en popinvloeden waren te horen. In de jaren tachtig had de band het wat moeilijker, maar halverwege de jaren negentig kwam er een hernieuwde interesse in afrobeat, waardoor ze weer in beeld kwamen bij het grotere publiek.
In 2015 verscheen het compilatiealbum Singles As,Bs & 12 Inches Box Set.
