In 2006, als Jonathan Vandenbroeck al een jaar of drie als muzikant aan de weg timmert, brengt hij het album The Bigger Picture in eigen beheer uit. Daarvan weet You Don’t Know in 2009 in de Top 40 de zevende plek te bereiken. Dat gebeurde echter nadat hij Ayo Technology, de track van 50 Cent, in een nieuwe akoestische versie uitbrengt. En dat werd een debuut met een nummer 1-hit als gevolg.

Van zijn vierde studioalbum weet You And Me (In My Pocket) in 2011 zijn derde hit in ons land te worden, maar met een 34e plek als beste resultaat is het succes een stuk meer bescheiden.

In 2016 is hij bezig met nieuw werk en neemt hij in Los Angeles de video op bij zijn nieuwste track Howling At The Moon. Ondertussen wint ook Fortune Cookie, zijn duet met landgenoot Emma Bale, steeds meer aan interesse. Op 13 mei verschijnt het album Modern Heart waarop Milow muzikaal een andere richting wil inslaan. Howling At The Moon is de eerste single en laat een verrassende tropical house-kant van de zanger horen.

In juni van 2017 maakt hij met Sebastián Yatra de track Summer Days.
