In 2004 doet Conrad Sewell op 16-jarige leeftijd mee aan Ausralian Idol en wordt hij al snel bestempeld als talent die de wereld wel eens zou kunnen veroveren. De Australiër heeft ondertussen ook nog een band, Sons Of Midnight, dat later tekent bij Universal. De single The Fire (#57) wordt een bescheiden hit in Duitsland. In 2014 werkt hij samen met de Noorse producer Kygo op de track Firestone.

Met Armin van Buuren brengt hij in februari 2018 de single Sex, Love & Water uit.
