Charlton Kenneth Jeffrey Howard mocht zich in zijn beginjaren bewegen onder de vleugels van Juice Wrld. De twee tourden samen door Australië en er ontwikkelt zich een vriendschap. In 2020 wordt de track Go een Amerikaanse hit.

In 2020 verschijnt zijn eerste mixtape, F*ck Love. Onder meer Cashmere Cat en Benny Blanco helpen hem met de productie. Na Go, Tell Me en Need You Most (So Sick) is So Done eind oktober de vierde single van die mixtape. Die track krijgt een plek in de Tipparade, terwijl de opvolger, Without You, een tweede plaats in de Top 40 bereikt.

In juli 2021 slaat hij de handen ineen met Justin Bieber en samen droppen zij de track Stay. In april 2022 brengt hij de single Thousand Miles uit. Met de single Love Again laat hij in januari 2023 weer van zich horen.
