Floor Jansen was tot 2009 de zangeres van de groep After Forever. Tijdens die periode voltooide ze ook een studie aan de Tilburgse Rockacademie. Na haar vertrek uit After Forever begon ze de band ReVamp en werkte ze sinds 2012 als zangeres bij Nightwish.

In 2019 doet ze mee aan het AVROTROS-programma Beste Zangers waar ze indruk maakt met het nummer Winner dat Tim Akkerman origineel schreef voor zijn gehandicapte broer. Ook zingt ze het thema van Phantom Of The Opera in duet met Henk Poort die destijds de rol van het 'spook' vertolkte in de Nederlandse versie van de gelijknamige musical.
In maart 2022 brengt ze de single Fire uit. Deze single is afkomstig van haar eerste soloplaat, die naar verwachting begin 2023 zal verschijnen.
