Fifth Harmony, eerder bekend als LYLAS en 1432, ontstond in 2012 bij de X-Factor. De girlband bestaat uit Ally Brooke, Normani, Lauren, Camila en Dinah Jane. Met een verkoop van 500.000 stuks komt hun eerste single in de Amerikaanse Billboard-lijst terecht.

Na nog een aantal singles verschijnt in februari van 2015 hun debuutalbum, Reflection. Worth It is de track waarop het vijftal samenwerkt met Kid Ink. Aan het nummer werkte ook Stargate mee, die eerder werk schreef en produceerde voor oner meer Katy Perry, Rihanna, Ne-Yo en Beyoncé.

Nadat Camila in 2015 een uitstapje maakt met Shawn Mendes op I Know What You Did Last Summer, de hit die in de Top 40 de twaalfde plek bereikt, komt op 20 mei 2016 het tweede album 7/27 uit. Work From Home komt op de eerste plaats en daarmee staat er, voor het eerst in elf jaar, weer een damesgroep bovenaan de Top 40. De opvolger, All In My Head (Flex), bereikt de 24e plek in de Top 40. That's My Girl, dat in het najaar verschijnt, blijft steken in de Tipparade. In december van 2016 verlaat Camila Cabello de groep. In juni 2017 verschijnt Down, de eerste single van de groep als viertal.
