Faithless is een Britse Dance-act bestaande uit Sister Bliss, Rollo en Maxi Jazz, opgericht in 1995. Het eerste album Reverence dat ze in 1996 uitbrengen is meteen een succes. Salva Mea (Save Me) en Insomnia weten de Top 40 te halen, en groeien uit tot klassiekers in hun genre. Beide singles komen zelfs tot twee keer toe in de Top 40 terecht, in een iets andere edit weliswaar.

Hun tweede album Sunday 8PM uit 1998 levert Faithless hun eerste en enige nummer 1-hit op: God Is A DJ voert in september dat jaar één week de Top 40 aan.

We Come One, van het derde album Outrospective, haalt in de zomer van 2001 net niet de nummer 1-positie, en blijft steken op nummer 2.

In 2004 is I Want More de (voorlopig) laatste hit voor Faithless.

Rollo komt uit een muzikale familie: zijn jongere zusje Dido scoort tussen 2001 en 2007 ook zeven hits in de Top 40.

Maxi Jazz overleed op 24 december 2022 op 65-jarige leeftijd in zijn slaap.
