E-Type (echte naam: Bo Martin Erik Eriksson) is een Zweedse eurodance-artiest en wordt geboren in augustus 1965. Hij begint in 1991. Het is 1994 als Nederland kennis met hem maakt, als This Is The Way een bescheiden Top 40-hit wordt.
Alles wijst in de richting van een eendagsvlieg, maar het loopt anders. Na drie Tipparade-noteringen in 1995, 1998 en 1999 scoort de Zweed in 2000 met Campione zijn tweede en grootste hit ooit. Het themanummer van het EK voetbal 2000 schopt het tot de vierde plaats (maar is na vier weken alweer uit de lijst verdwenen).
Met name in Scandinavië is Eriksson nog altijd erg populair.
