Dinand Woesthoff start in 1998, samen met Dennis van Leeuwen, de groep Kane. In 2013 schrijft die groep met I Love This City de 25e hitnotering in de Top 40 op zijn naam.
Hij trouwt op 17 september 2003 in de Verenigde Staten met Guusje Nederhorst, die nog geen half jaar later op 34-jarige leeftijd overlijdt aan borstkanker. Woesthoff brengt daarna het nummer Dreamer (Gussie’s Song) uit. Het nummer, ter nagedachtenis aan zijn vrouw, bereikt de eerste plaats van de Top 40.
In de periode daarna scoort ook Kane een drietal nummer 1-hits met Something To Say (2005), Fearless (2005) en Shot Of A Gun (2008). In 2009 hertrouwt de zanger met Lucy Hopkins.
In 2014 schrijft Woesthoff, samen met Peter Kriek van 16 Bit Lolitas, het huldigingsnummer voor de olympische sporters in Sotsji. Legendary Lane wordt gebruikt bij de huldigingen in het Holland Heineken House en is de tweede solo-notering van Woesthoff in de Top 40.
In 2020 keert hij terug met muziek via de tracks Whatever Comes For Me en Can You Hear Me. De nummers verschijnen vooruitlopend op een compleet album dat in het najaar verkrijgbaar is.
