Wist je dat? Norma Jean (Baker) was de naam die stond in het paspoort van Marilyn Monroe. Marilyn was regelmatig het onderwerp van verschillende liedjes, de meest bekende is Elton Johns Candle in the Wind uit 1973. In 1997 nam Elton het nummer opnieuw op met één verschil: het nummer ging nu over het leven van de verongelukte Prinses Diana. Deze versie bereikte de 1e plaats in de Top 40.

Zowel in Engeland als Amerika was het nummer geen hit. Dennis Lambert & Brian Potter zijn bekende producers en tekstschrijvers. Ze waren als producer en/of tekstschrijver betrokken bij o.a.
