Deze Nederlande groep werd in 1994 opgericht door de producers Ed Bout en Dave van Hasselaar. Zij kregen een opdracht van ID&T Records om commerciële hardcore te maken. Dancing Together uit 1995 was hiermee hun eerste hit. Later dat jaar kwamen zangeres Ludmilla Odijk en rapper MC Energie bij de groep. Zij gaven hiermee de groep ook gelijk een gezicht.
De grote knallers scoren ze in 1996 met o.a. Burnin' Love en Happy Generation. ID&T kondigde aan dat 2 Unlimited en Critical Mass zou worden samengevoegd. Maar in 1997 liep de rage van happy hardcore op zijn einde. Na de single Together In Dreams uitgebracht te hebben, wat geen hoge ogen gooide, besloten Bout en Van Hasselaar een andere muziekrichting op te gaan. In 2008 trad de groep weer een aantal keren op.
