In de jaren negentig begeleidt Chris Willis een groep die in een tijdsbestek van twee jaar honderden optredens doet in kerken. Ook werkt hij mee aan het album Handel’s Messiah – A Soulful Celebration. In 1996 brengt hij zijn titelloze debuutalbum uit en gaat hij op tournee met Mark Lowry. Als hij in 2000 samenwerkt met de Franse boyband 2Be3 wordt hij in Parijs voorgesteld aan David Guetta. Een dag later maken ze samen het nummer Just A Little More Love, dat in ons land de tweede hitsingle van de Franse dj wordt. Sindsdien werkt Willis veelvuldig samen met Guetta, getuige Love Is Gone (2007), Tomorrow Can Wait (2008), Everytime We Touch (2009) en Gettin’ Over You (2010).

In 2016 vinden David Guetta en Chris Willis elkaar opnieuw als ze gezelschap krijgen van Cedric Gervais op Would I Lie To You.
