De jaren 90 worden overspoeld met boybands als Boyzone, Take That, Five en de Backstreet Boys. 5 jongens uit Orlando, Florida, veroveren de wereld en scoren de ene hit na de andere in de Top 40 met hits als We've Got It Goin' On, I'll Never Break Your Heart en Everybody. In 1999 scoren ze een nummer 1-hit met I Want It That Way, dat vanuit het niets op 1 binnenkomt. Begin deze eeuw neemt het succes af en scoren de heren met Just Want You To Know in 2005 hun laatste hit.

In de jaren die volgen, weten ze met nummers als I Still..., Inconsolable, Helpless When She Smiles en Show Em (What You're Made Of) nog wel in de Tipparade te komen.

In 2018 viert de groep het 25-jarig jubileum en ter gelegenheid van die mijlpaal geven ze een concertreeks in Las Vegas. Ook verschijnt er in mei van dat jaar een nieuwe single van de 'boys' met Don't Go Breaking My Heart.
