Alien Ant Farm is een rockband die in 1996 is opgericht in Riverside in de Amerikaanse staat Californië. Hun grootste (en in Nederland enige) hit was een cover van Michael Jacksons Smooth Criminal. Het nummer bereikt in 2001 de top 4. De opvolger, Movies, komt een paar maanden later niet verder dan de Tipparade.
In mei 2002 raakt de band betrokken bij een auto-ongeluk. Chauffeur Christopher Holland komt om en zanger Dryden Mitchell raakt zwaargewond.
