Popgroep uit Göteburg, Zweden, begin jaren '90 opgericht door componisten/producers Ulf Ekberg (Buddha) (geb. 06-12-1970; toetsen) en Jonas (Joker) Berggren (geb. 25-03-1972; toetsen). Jonas’ zussen Linn (geb. 31-05-1970; zang) en Jenny (geb. 19-05-1972; zang) voegen zich later bij het tweetal.

Vanaf begin 1993 scoort Ace Of Base binnen drie jaar acht hits, waarvan de eerste vijf allemaal de top 10 halen. De debuutsingle All That She Wants kwam tot de 4e plaats en was niet de hoogst genoteerde hit (dat was Wheel Of Fortune op 2), maar wel de meest succesvolle van de groep.
