Noorse popgroep, ontstaan in 1983, bestaande uit Paul Waaktaar, Magne Furuholmen en Morten Harket.

In 1985 scoort de groep met Take On Me de eerste hit, geholpen door een zeer opvallende videoclip, die half getekend en half realistisch was.

Maakte in 1987 de titelsong voor de 15e James Bond film The Living Daylights. In 1990 was Crying In The Rain de tiende en laatste hit in Nederland.

Op 4 december 2010 geeft A-ha in Oslo een afscheidsconcert. In 2011 treedt de band nog één keer op bij de nationale herdenkingsbijeenkomst voor de slachtoffers die vielen bij de aanslagen in Oslo en op Utoya, eerder dat jaar.
