3 Doors Down is een band uit Escatawpa in de Amerikaanse staat Mississippi. De vaste bandleden zijn Brad Arnold, Matt Roberts, Todd Harrell en Chris Henderson. De groep maakt zowel rocknummers als ballads.

In 2000 breekt de band door met Kryptonite, dat het in de Top 40 tot de 17e plaats schopt. De grootste hit van 3 Doors Down in Nederland is echter Here Without You, dat begin 2004 uitgeroepen wordt tot Alarmschijf en vervolgens de 6e plaats weet te bereiken. Pas na 19 weken verdwijnt het nummer uit de Top 40.

Bassist Todd Harrel wordt in april 2013 gearresteerd omdat hij betrokken is bij een dodelijk ongeluk in Nashville. Hij bekent dat hij heeft gedronken.
