Het is vandaag Paarse Vrijdag! Vele jongeren op middelbare scholen dragen vandaag een paars armbandje of gaan in het paars naar school. Door paars te dragen laten zij zien dat zij oké zijn met alle genders en seksuele oriëntaties en dat zij niet in hokjes denken.

Het COC en de GSA’s (Gay Straight Alliances, groepen leerlingen en docenten die zich inzetten op middelbare scholen om de LHBTQI-jongeren een hart onder de riem te steken) hebben een speciale playlist samengesteld naar aanleiding van deze dag. Wij zetten enkele Paarse Vrijdag-tracks uit die lijst voor je op een rij, met wat prikkelende stukjes uit hun songteksten.
